Job Summary
Kforce is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Reading, PA, responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for a large employee base. The role involves maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, managing garnishments and deductions, and utilizing payroll and timekeeping systems for accurate data entry. The analyst will also resolve payroll inquiries through a ticketing system, collaborate with HR, and ensure timely payroll submission.
Must Have
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for large employee base
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments
- Utilize payroll and timekeeping systems for accurate data
- Resolve payroll inquiries via ticketing system
- Collaborate with HR and other departments on payroll issues
- Ensure timely payroll submission and adherence to schedules
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP, SAP, UKG)
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and multi-state tax compliance
- Attention to detail in manual environments
- Problem-solving skills for discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Utilize payroll and timekeeping systems to ensure accurate data entry and processing
- Respond to and resolve payroll inquiries through a ticketing system
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to address employee payroll issues
- Ensure timely payroll submission and adherence to processing schedules
Requirements
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, UKG or similar platforms)
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and multi-state payroll processing
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a highly manual environment
- Problem-solving skills for resolving payroll discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills to partner with HR and employees
- Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently under time constraints
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Prior experience with ticketing systems is a plus
